Julia Pearl Schwartz is the Research Specialist for the Community Adaptations to City Heat (CATCH) project. She previously worked at JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., a global health non-profit, where she supported a health system resilience initiative in Mali to strengthen reproductive health outcomes during climate events and violent conflict. In addition to her global health and climate resilience background, Julia brings experience conducting community-engaged research both in rural communities in El Salvador and in Boston.
