He grew up in Seoul, Korea, and studied Environmental Health at Korea University and obtained his MPH at Seoul National University, studying exposure assessment of airborne particles and chemicals. He worked as an analyst and consultant in the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency before obtaining a doctorate in Environmental Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In his recent works, he developed methods to estimate the respiratory deposition and exposure of aerosols with a 3D-printed human lung replica. Outside of academia, Jinho enjoys movies, cooking, soccer, and walking with his dog.
